Oil Cleanser: Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil

Oil cleansing is something that I have seen become really popular in the last couple of years. I would see blogs, articles, and pictures with people that are incorporating oil into their skincare routine. I would read about it and was very intrigued by the idea, but had no real plans to add it to my routine. I'm very skincare conscious  because I think I'm just now getting my skin to a place that I like and don't want to disrupt that. However, I stumbled across this oil cleanser in T.J. Maxx and I couldn't resist.

The Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil is something that I remember seeing on Instagram and it's a product made and sold in the U.K.  So, when I saw this U.K. product in the U.S. I knew I needed to snatch it up. I had read some really great reviews on it. The Super Facialist website describes this product as:

The ultimate cleansing experience for fresher,

more revived skin starts with this unique
lightweight cleansing oil. Infused with Vitamin C
and nourishing Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils,
this highly soluble oil transforms itself, upon contact
with water, into a light milky texture. Boosted with Rosemary
oil, Vitamin E and soothing Cucumber oil it gently dissolves
face and eye make-up and removes daily impurities. Skin is

left cleansed, refreshed and softer to the touch.
Doesn't that sound amazing and chock full of great ingredients. I really wanted to try this because it said the keywords brighten and Vitamin C on the front. I'm always trying to achieve bright and glowy skin and I didn't have any vitamin C products in my current routine, so it was a welcome addition.

My first impression of this product is that I love the packaging. It's simple and you can see the nice color of the oil. There is a flip top lid and the smell is a noticeable citrus orange smell. You're either gonna love it or hate it. On my first use, I found that the opening controlled the amount of oil easily enough. The oil itself was not to heavy and not to thick, which I liked. As per the directions on the bottle, I rubbed the oil onto my dry skin for a few minutes, then I added water to turn it into a milky lotion that I rinsed off. After, I found that my skin didn't feel overly oily, which I was worried about. It left the right amount of moisture. You can double cleanse after using this, but I chose not to. When I woke up in the morning my skin felt very soft and smooth. You can use this product day or night, and it's perfect for removing makeup.

I'm excited to see what continued use of this product brings. I've linked where my U.S. people can get their hands on this product. It just might be what your skincare routine has been missing. I recommend reading up more on oil cleansing to really reap the benefits.
